Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration
The purpose of this qualification is to provide participants with extensive knowledge and skills for leading and managing successfully in organizations. This qualification may provide entry into the Master of Business Administration programme, any other master’s degree programmes in business and commercial studies or related cognate areas of learning.
On completion of this course, you will have gained the following skills:
- Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision making,
- Creativity and innovation,
- Intercultural competence/communication,
- Business intelligence
Admission requirements:
- Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree at NQF Level 7 from the University of Namibia or any other recognised institution.
- Demonstrate competency in English communication in business at postgraduate level, as demonstrated by the fact that the undergraduate degree was done in the medium of English. If the undergraduate degree was not done in the medium of English, then the candidate will be required to show competency in the medium of English through achieving at least Band 7 of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or an equivalent test.
Additional Selection Criteria:
In the event of too many students qualifying for admission, those with more years of experience in managerial positions will be given priority.

1. Application Form

2. Admission Process
After successfully completing and submitting your application, the Academic Office and the Admissions Committee will review each applicant’s form. Once admission status has been concluded, the applicant will receive an Acceptance or Rejection Letter via email.
3. Registration Form
The applicants who are admitted for the programme of their choice will be invited to register their first semester modules on the registration platform. The instructions and requirements for registration will be sent to each admitted applicant via email.

1. Lectures
1.1 Accessing Moodle
Moodle is a platform used by the Namibia Business School for all class-related activities and it is where students can access the learning material. Each admitted student will receive login details from the Student Support Office, once the registration period has ended.
1.2 Access to the UNAM Student Portal
UNAM Student Portal is the official platform for the submission of continuous assessment and examination results. Each admitted student will receive login details from the Student Support Office, once the registration period has ended.
1.3 Study Material & Timetable
Along with the instructions on how to access Moodle, the Student Support Office will also send information about study material.

3. Release of CA marks
The CA marks are released on the UNAM student portal before the beginning of the examination period.

1. Allocation of Supervisors
1.1 Student engagement
Once a student submits a proposal with a researchable topic, supervisor will be allocated to guide the student through the thesis writing process.
1.2 Presentation
Once a student receives permission to defend their thesis from the supervisor, the student must send the proposal and the approval to the Research Office.
2. Submission
The Research Office will send the Research Seminar agenda and further instructions to the students via email.
