Construction Course

Overview

Namibia has a huge demand for construction and infrastructure management in so many fields from housing to mining to agriculture. There is a growing market for skilled professionals in the construction and infrastructure development industry.   Although Namibia Business School offers a Diploma in Project Management that equips students to manage projects in all industries, different industries are unique and deserve special attention.  Over the next several years, the Project Management Programme at NBS plans to roll out short courses in our training programme that allows students to develop expertise in specific industries.  Since we have seen a growing number of students enter the PM Diploma from the construction industry, the first “concentration” that we are launching is in construction and infrastructure development.

Current students and alumni of the NBS PM Diploma are given preference for admission into the advanced project management short courses.  A limited number of spots are available to participants who are not NBS PM alumni or students if they can demonstrate that they possess foundational project management knowledge.
